This is Burges McCowan. In this video, I’m going to talk about child pornography laws in Arizona.

Recently, there was a case in New York where sixty people were arrested for child pornography on a peer-to-peer network. If you’re charged with child pornography in Arizona, you’re looking at ten years per image minimum and each image is consecutive to the other which means if they charge ten, you’re looking at a hundred years minimum. That’s a hundred years in prison. Basically, the rest of your life. They treat it very seriously in Arizona.

If you’re looking at a charge like child pornography, you need to act quickly. The police will probably have a warrant and they will search your computer and get whatever they have on there but don’t fully despair. There are some defenses available to you. They involve computer forensics and you need an attorney that’s familiar with those.
