Steven Jones, who is currently facing first-degree murder and several aggravated assault charges following a shooting on the NAU campus, was granted a modified release from jail on Tuesday, April 12th, in an afternoon hearing.

The judge announced the conditions of his release which includes GPS monitoring at all times; a curfew from 6 a.m - 6 p.m.; surrendering his passport; having no weapons in the home; his parents' consent to searches of their home; and having no contact with the victims or their family members.
